May and June Groomers Report

We have been working on the groomers as we can in the last 2 months.
Because of the corona virus, we have not worked in a group, we have been working individually at the groomer shed.  So far we have gotten the groomers cleaned up inside and out, waxed, cleaned up in the shed, welded on cleats that needed bolts replaced, and have worked on the 08 changing engine oil, pulling fluid samples, and changing gear lube in the diffs and transfer case. So far we have spent 8 hours working on CATS this summer.   All of us, except for 1, are over 60, so we are being careful with regards to this virus.

The push frame is in for the 08.  This is the frame between the CAT and the dozer blade that I mentioned in March that broke almost completely in two.  Thanks to OSSA to allow the money for a new one, as the old one had already been repaired and was in poor shape.

The two-way radio in the new CAT was sent in for repair and is back in the CAT, and the rear view mirror has been installed as it came unglued from the windshield at the end of the season.

We will continue to work on the CATS this summer as the 2020 needs service work, yet to to be done before snow flies

Thanks,

Jess Thompson, TTF grooming chairman.
