Grooming report January 24, 2020

We have done all of our grooming this week Monday-Wednesday as we knew from the forecast it was going to warm up and begin raining.  Thanks for the groomer drivers for rearranging their schedules to get this done.  We opened up Shumway, Skyline, which was drifted in, as well as McIntyre Loop being drifted in from the big snow a week ago.  We have groomed out to both Bone Springs and Ruckle Shelters as well as in and out of all snow parks and highway crossings.  That means we have groomed to the Alpine 2X, Chalet, Jubilee Rd,, elk trail, out through Spout Springs, Andies Prairie, Gordon Creek Loop and Balloon Tree Loop.  Trails are in pretty good shape but we will now be watching the weather as temperatures are in the mid to upper 30’s with rain or rain/snow forecast through the weekend.  The new Snowcat is up and running well now after repairs to the steering and heater.  Thanks to Marcus of Tucker Snowcat for taking part of his convention week-end to get those repairs done.  Both snowcats ran well this week, and got us caught up from the big snow.

Thanks,

Jess Thompson,

TTF grooming chairman
