Grooming report January 18, 2020

We have been limping along grooming the last 2 days.  We had a hydraulic mount on the front lift frame break off on the 08, we got it temporarily back together so it could run some yesterday, we will see if we have to do more work on that later.  The new snowcat is still not steering right, even after Tucker worked on it Thursday.  They overnighted parts to Pendleton for today’s pickup and the parts went to La Grande.  Marcus and Allen met the driver in Elgin and are on their way back up the mountain, will hopefully have those parts on this afternoon.  We did get the heater up and working on the new CAT, computer adjustments made, and the powder bar repaired.Larry made it out to Ruckle and back, and Gordon Creek Loop limping along with the new CAT.  The 08 made it to McDougal crossing and back, 3719 Coyote Loop, Pole trail, in and out of Morning Creek, back to Jubilee Rd, out to the Powerline trail, in Owl Hoot Lane.  All highway crossings and snow park entrances have been opened up as of yesterday. We put in a lot of hard running on those CATS in deep snow.  It is snowing today and the wind is blowing.
