Rotary On Jubilee Lake Road

I was on the mountain today to walk into the groomer shed and the state highway rotary blower was removing snow from Jubilee Rd back to the work center.  There is about a 4 foot drop off if you are coming from the groomer shed to the road, and there will be another drop off if you are coming from Morning Creek Snow Park. The Forest Service has also mentioned there could be a permit issued to plow the road to Owl Hoot Lane, which is about a mile and  a half from Baldy.  It hasn’t happened yet but could in the next week or two.   I stopped at the Alpine and told them in case there were any snowmobiles coming up for this next week-end. Spread the word to be careful and safe. I also asked the Alpine about advertising on the trail map for this next season, and they are very interested as well as advertising for the Tamarack.

THANKS TO MY GROOMER DRIVERS THIS YEAR:  Jeff, Larry, Allen, Buckshot, Kurt  for a great year of grooming and volunteering their time every week to drive and maintain the groomers.
thank you

Jess Thompson,

TTF grooming chairman
