Grooming report December 14

As we finally got enough snow to begin grooming, we groomed all day Thursday with both CATS.  We opened all Forest Service gates, highway crossings broken open, and entrances to Snow Parks.  We groomed out to 31 Rd through Spout Springs, Woodland, Andies Prairie, Gordon Creek loop and back in Balloon Tree road, to the store out to 3719 (Coyote) rd and back, out Jubilee Rd to Elk Trail, up through Skyline towards Bone, back to Baldy Mt.  The backside trail is very thin on snow and we were in the dirt and rocks trying to shape the trail there.  We need more snow. We will  go around the main road at Baldy until we get more snow.   Roads were in excellent shape even before we groomed, no major drifting at all as of Thursday. We did remove 14 small trees from the trail.  There is new snow in the forecast for Friday night and then a warming trend through the middle of next week and rain.  We will see how that turns out.  The 08 has a hydraulic leak right now, I am working on getting parts to repair that.  The 98 is running good so far.

Thanks
