Grooming Report for Feb 25, 2022

This week had been the best grooming week we have had this year as we finally got enough new snow to work and really cold temperatures ranging from -14 to the low teens.  Our volunteers have groomed out to both shelters, Ruckel and Bone Springs, Jubilee Rd, Skyline, Elk Trail, Powerline, McIntyre loop, Coyote loop 3719 Chalet/Shumway loop, Pole Trail, up through Spout, to Andies Prairie, 31 Rd out and back, Gordon Creek Loop, to the store and back 3X, in and out of all snow parks.  The trails are in great shape for the weekend. Make sure you ride to the right instead of the middle of the trail as the middle is the softest part between the tracks of the snowcat.  Trails will hold up much longer if you do that.

Next week there is expected to be a downturn in weather, this weekend starts the warming trend, rain on the mountain with freezing levels up to 6,000 feet.  Hope that changes, but it looks like next week will not be a good week for snow or grooming.  Enjoy this weekend!
