The Novel. 'Salem's Lot centers on Ben Mears, a recently widowed young writer. It's a vastly omniscient♣️ novel, dipping into the minds of over a dozen characters, but Ben is the focal point. He spent part of♣️ his childhood in Jerusalem's Lot and now, at the novel's outset, moves back to the sleepy country town.
One short story, called One for the Road , which is a sequel to the book, and is♣️ also connected to the story of "Jerusalem's Lot", which is a prequel to both. They both appear in the short♣️ story collection Night Shift and were later collected in the 2005 Salem's Lot Illustrated Edition.
